Born in 1988, my name is Maxime Fardeau and I currently live in Paris. I am a member of the Hans Lucas studio since 2019. Self-taught photographer, I explore the vaste world of analogue photography, developing all my pictures myself, at home. All my prints are produced in my darkroom according to traditional analog photography techniques. My work is influenced by zen and wabi-sabi philosophies from Far East.

Photographers like Masao Yamamoto, Saul Leiter, Shoji Ueda, Hiroshi Sugimoto or Vivian Maier are my day-to-day inspirations.
