Torn and twisted minds

Street posters are part of our urban life. They seem to appear by magic on our walls and to disappear the next day, covered by another one or ripped apart. Stacking and tearing the posters create sometimes an aesthetic and surprising entanglement. These urban artworks produced by an underground culture or zealous publicists, become a part of our city life while remaining unnoticed for most of people.

This photo serie is born from the collection of these wonders of paper scattered in the city of Paris. It is dedicated to these lucky moments of beauty when they are the least expected. Like for the “Wood and Steel” (“De bois, de fer”) serie, I want to attract your attention on unsignificant objects of our lives, that can be ephemeral plaisures for our eyes.
